THE HUNTSMAN

In the show ring

Hunter was started again under saddle as a 5 year old after having almost 3 years off . Hunter had 90 days Professional training as a 2 year old then spent the next 3 years leaving his mark with 27 beautiful colored foals now on the ground and 8 more to come in 2011.

THE HUNTSMAN- Finished his 2010 year in the top 5 for the Nation for APHA PAC Program "Over Fences" with a total of 57 points "Over Fences". He was also on the leader board for the "English Pleasure" division for PAC with a total of 18 points.

Sept 3rd 2011 - The Huntsman goes to his first APHA Show and competes in Halter. He wins his class but unfortunately he is the only stallion. He was such a good boy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
Sept 1st 2011 -The Huntsman and his son Lord of the Hunt are part of the Paint Team for Battle of the Breeds. Hunter placed 4th in the Trail Class and Henry placed 5th putting Team Paint in the Money with a 3rd place alround win behind the AQHA Team and PtHA team.

 

 

 

 

 

 
August 30th 2011- Battle of the Breeds Teams Paint. The Huntsman does his first Kur competing in the Dressage phase in the Battle of the Breeds.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Lord of the Hunt - June 2011

By The Huntsman competes in his first "A" Hunter Show at Milner downs and gets ribbons in the Hunter rings.

Henry is for sale to a show home.

June 19th 2011- The Huntsman is shown at MREC Hunter Jumper Show. He wins his Hunter Hack class out of 17 horses and qualifies for the BC Heritage Finals at TB Show Park in July. He also places in the top 4 in 2'9" Hunter OF, English Pleasure , Hunter U/S and Equitation to also qualify.

June 18th 2011- The Huntsman goes to the BC Sporthorse Show and places in the Hunter Type Line class, and also is in the top placings in the Hunter Hack in his first phase to qualifiy for the BC Heritage Finals in Hunter Hack.

 
June 12th 2011-The Huntsman picks up more PAC points at Windsor Stables Hunter Jumper Show winning 2 Hunter Classes and Champion in the 3' Hunters as well as points in all his hack classes. Hoping to qualify for the BC Heritage Classic at Thunderbird Show Park in July

 

 

 

May Long weekend The Huntsman opens the "Cloverdale Rodeo" with Grand Entry Team BIT-A-BLING Christa Bryd riding him in picture below.

 

 

April 10th 2011- The Huntsman is Reserve Hack Champion at Windsor Stables.

Also in April 2011- The Huntsman places in the top 5 at the Thunderbird Show Park Season opener in the Jumper ring.

March 13th 2011- Season Opener for Windsor stables Hunter Jumper and Hack Show. Both our boys came home Champion's "Lord of the Hunt" by The Huntsman was the Green Horse Hack Champion and "The Huntsman" was the Hack Champion for the day.

Nov 28th 2010- Hunters first crop of foals are now old enough to go into the show ring. Here is a picture of "Lord of the Hunt" 2007 gelding by The Huntsman at his very first Hunter Jumper show winning his first class he was ever shown in. At the Windsor Stables Hunter Jumper Trophy Show. This gelding is a fabulous mover and will shine in the Hunter ring both over fences and on the flat.

Oct 17 2010- Windsor Hunter Jumper Show The Huntsman places high in every class to win High Point Hack Championship for the day. He moves up in the PAC "English Pleasure" division and is 5th for the Nation in the PAC "Over Fences" division.

 

 

 

 

The Huntsman joins the "BIT-A-BLING" Grand Entry team to do the opening ceremonies for the North Thompson Fall Fair and Rodeo. Two of the horses on the Team where live covered this spring and are now in foal to him. The two horses pictured behind him are those two mares. He never once acted like a stallion he just did his job and did it well!! He is such a super horse!!

August 12-15th 2010- Maple Ridge Dog Days of Summer Hunter Jumper Show. The Huntsman is on the winning Team Relay team along with APHA gelding Winddancers Cimaron on Friday night. Saturday nigh he placed 2nd out of a field of 15 seasoned competitors in the $500 MREC Derby with Christa Byrd riding him.

August 8th 2010- CoghlanPark Derby Show "The Huntsman" had his first real Derby with owner Kelly Allen riding him. It was a large course with 13 fences and he had to gallop though the water. He did 2 derby's and had the fastest time in both the 2'3" and the 2'6" Derby out of 13 other horses winning both events.

"The Huntsman" racked up another 8 PAC points in the "Over Fences" catagory putting him in the top 5 for the Nation.

Next weekend we are heading to Maple Ridge Equestrian Centre to show in the 0.75 and 0.85m Jumper rings.

 

 

 

 

 

June 20th 2010- Coghlan Park Jumper Show "The Huntsman" racked up 8 more PAC points in the "Over Fences" catagory for his life time APHA performance points.

Coming home with top ribbons in every class.

Kelly rode him in the lower jumpers coming in second behind her Husband Ron on his paint horse. Then Christa Byrd took him in the larger classes and schooled him over some of the event jumps and through the water on the Derby coarse.

 

 

 

 

 

June 13th 2010- Windsor Stables Hunter Jumper show.

Hunter and Kelly placed consistently in all the flat class in the top 3. He won his 2'6" Novice Hunter Class sponsered by Short Stirrup Stables and won a nice embroider saddle pad. He is now racking up the PAC points in 3 catagories. "Over Fences" "English Pleasure" and English Equitation".

 

 

 

 

May 23rd 2010- Hunter ranked up the "Over Fences" PAC points and made it on to the APHA PAC leaders list after winning a few classes at the Coghlan Park Jumper show and won the Champion for the day with Amateur rider Christa Byrd.

 

 

 

 

 

April 18th 2010- Hunter and Kelly started racking up his PAC points at Windsor Stables at their second Hunter Jumper Show of the year. In classes of up to 16 horses he won 2 classes got 4 seconds and one third.

 

 

 

 

 

 

March 28th 2010- Hunter and Brandie Thom placed 2nd ,5th and 6th over Fences at the March Thunderbird Show over fences. We are very happy with him.

 

 

 

 

January 2010 - Hunter did his first show of the year at Thunderbird Show Park in the under saddles classes. He got ribbons in every class even placing second in the Hunter under saddle class.

 

 

 

Sept 2009- Hunter was shown at Maple Ridge Labor Day Hunter jumper show in the Baby Green Hunter division and the Young Horse Development Class the September long weekend with Amateur Rider Brandie Thom he came home with lots of ribbons winning a class and place second and third in almost all his classes.
